Terms and conditions of sale

By accessing our website, you,the user, agree to the terms and conditions set out below. These terms and conditions may change at our discretion at any time and without prior notice. All orers and purchases made throught this site are governed by these terms and conditions.

The terms and conditions below also apply to orders placed in the following ways:-
Purchases made by telephone.
Purchases made by completing an appropriate order form
Purchases made either in person at our showroon in the comfort of your own home or at a venue mutually agreed to by both parties.

1. Prices: All prices on this website are subject to confirmation. Any extra costs will be advised as soon as possible and prior to commencing any order. You agree to pay all charges payable to your order prior to despatch.
2. Normal Despatch Times: Delivery dates are approximate but, depending on the design, average between 10-20 working days for standard designs, from the time the order is received and credit card information supplied and verified. Please note that proofs and amendments to proofs will lengthen the delivery date. An express service is available at additional cost.

3. Special Orders: Where we have to make a special order for a client. ,in relation to specially designed stationery or bespoke items such as Guest Books or Table Plans the delivery period will change and will depend on the number of processes involved, due to the bespoke nature of the product.

4. Delivery: We will endeavour to use efficient resources to deliver items as quickly as possible using an overnight courier in the UK. However, we are not responsible for delivery delays beyond our control. We will endeavour to notify all customers if delivery is delayed, however, this is sometimes beyond our control and subsequently we may not be aware of it. We cannot confirm a time of delivery either AM or PM or provide a Saturday Delivery without an additional charge.

5. Delivery Charges: It is important to be aware of the delivery charges that apply, which are calculated with your order or quotation. Please note that there is a charge for each consignment.

6. Printing Errors: Errors completely attributable to Lumsden-Wells Design Studio shall be re-printed as soon as possible. If errors, however, are attributable to the customer, a re-print charge will apply. This is normally 90% of the original order value. The cost will be advised in advance.

• the goods are received back in perfect resale condition at our premises and before the date of the event.
• the goods are a current design and not from a discontinued range.
• any postage charges involved are paid for by the client.
• there is NO returns policy on cameras, table plans, printed or personalised items.

8. Copyright: The trademarks, copyrights and logos displayed on the site are registered trademarks of Lumsden-Wells Design Studio and our respective suppliers. All stationery designs, photographs and products displayed on our site are also copyright and are not for alternative use, i.e. photocopying, scanning etc. Any samples of stationery, text or general design on this site may not be copied, reproduced, posted or republished in any way. The republication or use of materials or stationery designs on any other website without prior written consent is prohibited and all rights are reserved.
Images of people on this site are used with the permission or in accordance with appropriate laws. Re-use of them without permission may violate the privacy and publication of the person or persons

9. Our Liability: The website is accessed and used at your own risk. Although reasonable efforts have been made to ensure that all details on the site are current and contain no inaccuracies or errors, no guarantees are made that the website's content will be error-free, accurate and current at all times. If and when a mistake is noticed, we will correct it as soon as possible and will ensure that all efforts are made to notify affected users.
